| The drivers cannot be installed
Please deactivate your onboard soundchip and additional components, such as onboard game- and midi-port before installing the soundcard
The soundcard does not create any sound
- if you are using one pair of speakers please make sure, that you have connected it to the right port.
- check the cable connections between speaker and soundcard.
- Make sure that the speakers are switched on.
- Please check the Audio-Mixer in your OS and make sure non is set on mute.
I always hear background noises, what can I do?
It is possible that other devices in your PC create interferences. If this appears please make sure that you position the soundcard away from VGA- or TV-cards or power supplies. Please set the Microphone port on mute if not used.
Since I installed the soundcard I always hear a deep purr
This purr (50Hz) appears because of the 220V power supply. It is induced in a socalled mass-loop. It occurs when two devices that are
|
grounded by, e.g. coax cable are connected by an audio cable. In general the purr disappears when you use a special shielded cable.
When installing I get the Error Code "Code 69, diver cannot be installed"
Windows asks you, during installation,
for a driver from the Windows CD to install needed DirectX components. On the Windows CD there are only older drivers of DirectX which overwrite the newer ones. So when asked for the
Windows CD please refer to the following folder: x:\windows\system
